(Minghui.org) Practitioners in the U.K. held a rally in London on April 25, 2024, to tell people about the 10,000 practitioners’ peaceful appeal in Beijing on April 25, 1999.

Mr. Tenzin Kunga, Chair of the Tibetan Community in Britain and Advocacy Officer of Free Tibet, condemned the CCP’s (Chinese Communist Party) persecution of Tibetan Buddhists, Muslims, and Falun Gong practitioners. Kunga expressed his admiration for the practitioners who have upheld their belief and adhered to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. “These principles are good for personal development. I think it’s a cultivation practice everyone can benefit from. It shouldn’t be suppressed.”

He said that Tibetans know how wicked the CCP is and stand with Falun Gong. He was saddened to read about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and glad to know that the British government banned organ tourism to China.

Mr. Tenzin Kunga expressed his support for Falun Gong practitioners.

Maria, an IT professional whose parents were from the former Soviet Union said, “The communist party doesn’t respect any traditional culture. It’s against morality...People should have the freedom to choose their way of life and belief. It’s terrible to persecute people for their beliefs.” She stressed the importance of peaceful protest and said the rally to expose the persecution was significant.

Maria said she recognizes the significance of the rally.

Falun Gong practitioner Stephan said, “Those who went to the April 25 Peaceful Appeal set a great example for us with their compassionate and non-violent way of clarifying the facts. The world has learned that Falun Gong practitioners are exemplary when it comes to practicing Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”

Practitioners also held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the thousands of practitioners who have been persecuted to death by the Chinese regime over the past 25 years of persecution and called for a collective effort to end it.

Practitioners mourn their fellow practitioners who have died in the persecution.
